Gender// Somewhat trans, as I fully believe I should have been born a guy. But female, for the time being.
Sexual Preference// Pansexual.
Residence// El Centro, California.
Favorite Movies// The Matrix trilogy, The Phantom of the Opera (although the stage show was better, but it almost always is)
Favorite Bands// The Dandy Warhols, Coldplay, U2, Groove Coverage
Favorite Books// The Harry Potter series; Borderliners; Girl, Interrupted
Favorite Games// Pool/Billiards
Favorite Song Lyric Ever// "All I ever learned from love was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you." - Leonard Cohen, Hallelujah
Gay marriage and/or homosexuality in general// Considering that I believe that love doesn't care who you are and who you ultimately fall in love with, I don't think we should either.
Bush// I think he's simple. I used to think he was harmless, but now...well. I don't think he's a total bastard, I just think he's misguided. He's not stupid, necessarily...he's just simple. And he's not a bad person, but he's a really bad politician. He doesn't know how to run the country.
Straightedge// I have sex. I don't drink. I don't do drugs. BUT...I believe that marijuana should be legalized. It's shown to have medicinal benefits, as I'm sure we all know, but think of what weed being legal could do for our country's economy. For one thing, taxpayer dollars would no longer go toward punishing minor drug offenders. For another...charge sin taxes on it. Put a legal age on it (say, eighteen) and charge sin taxes. Teenagers are going to find a way to do it, no matter what we do, just like those that are determined find a way to smoke or drink. Why not make some money and help boost our economy while we do so? Weed has less toxins in it overall than cigarettes, nicotine is just as addicting, and yet people are allowed to make their own damn cigarettes and aren't allowed near weed. That fails to make much sense...
War// You'd probably find me with a picket sign protesting the draft. But war happens, no matter what we do. World peace is a myth. But as long as signing up for the military remains voluntary and only voluntary...well, I won't support the war. It's my choice. I simply won't sign up. When it comes to a draft, though, I picket.
Abortion// I think it should be a woman's choice, but she should think long and hard about it. As for the male politicians pushing pro-life, I think that as soon as they get raped and impregnated and keep the baby, then they can have a say. Men honestly shouldn't have a say. I'm sorry. They just shouldn't.
What do you think is the most essential class in school [not your favorite]// Debate and Argumentation, in a tie with History. The people need to learn to speak up for themselves, and not be led blindly into a repetition of all that's happened before.
The most useless? Why?// Math. I don't see when I'm going to need anything beyond Algebra I.
Are you labeled/ in a clique? Do you enjoy being labeled? Whats your opinion on it?// I am labeled as a thespian. Some would argue for my being labeled as a Goth, but those are mostly the people that are like "omg i'm soooo punk, i shop at hot topic!" in the equally fashionable and loathesomely annoying Continuous Lowercase. I don't mind being labeled. I've always held the belief that labels are more for soup cans, but people have the urge to slap labels on everything. I do it too, so I'm not going to complain.
I plan on being a writer. I also plan on getting my masters in both Creative Writing and Public Speaking.
